Heather Statham
Performer | Vocal & Performance Coach | Creative Guide
"Holy cow, you can sing!"
"Man, you’ve got some pipes!"
“GURL…!"
These are just some of the reactions Heather Statham sparks when she steps on stage. Known for her powerhouse vocals and captivating stage presence, Heather is not only a dynamic performer but also a sought-after vocal and performance coach.
Based in the Southeast U.S., Heather merges her passion for performance with her expertise in coaching to create transformative experiences for singers. In 2022, she launched Reveal Your Inner Rockstar™, a 10-week program designed to guide singers through the exciting and challenging journey of performing with a live band—taking them from the practice room to the stage with confidence and style.
Heather’s love for the performing arts began on stage in her hometown of Griffin, Georgia, where she immersed herself in dance and musical theatre from an early age. Her training continued at Brenau Women’s College and New York City’s prestigious CAP21/NYU Program. After several years in regional theatre, Heather transitioned into live music, becoming the frontwoman for THUNDERGYPSY, an award-winning Atlanta-based band, and Haints & Saints, a Greenville, SC-based group.
When she’s not bringing the house down with blues-rock and soul hits from the '60s and '70s, Heather taps into her musical theatre roots, performing songs from the Broadway divas who’ve shaped her artistry—Ethel, Bette, Patti, Elaine, Debra… the list goes on!
As a coach, Heather blends her extensive training with her rich performance experience to help her students develop not only their vocal technique but also their stage presence and artistic identity. Her credentials include Somatic Voicework™ The Lovetri Method (Jeanie Lovetri), Soul Ingredients® (Dr. Trineice Robinson-Martin), and Musical Theatre Performing Arts Essentials (NYU/Tisch), among others.
Heather is also the creator of the Get Your G.R.O.O.V.E. On workshop, which explores the powerful connection between movement, music, and self-expression. Rooted in her passion for inclusive and body-positive practices, this workshop is designed to get participants moving in ways that feel authentic and joyful, whether they are singers or just looking for a fun, energizing experience.
Heather’s Groove classes, offered both online and in-person, bring people together to celebrate movement and music in a supportive, fun environment. Her holistic approach empowers every body to move with confidence, building a sense of community and creativity in each session.
With her unique blend of coaching, creativity, and live performance experience, Heather is committed to empowering performers to step into their own spotlight with confidence and authenticity.
